Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everything you submit to Zivdeo and everything you create with it. Report abuse to support@zivdeo.com.
1. No deceptive advertising
Zivdeo exists to show real products, places and offers at their best. You may not use it to:
- advertise a price, discount, financing term or offer you do not intend to honour, or omit conditions the law requires you to state;
- misrepresent the condition, features, history or availability of a vehicle, property, product or service, for example by hiding damage or adding features it does not have;
- show results, before-and-after transformations, testimonials, reviews, awards or endorsements that did not happen;
- make health, medical, safety, earnings or environmental claims you cannot substantiate;
- pass off staged, edited or generated imagery as unedited where the law or a platform requires disclosure (for example virtually staged real estate photos).
2. No impersonation or deepfakes
- Do not depict a real, identifiable person without their consent, and never in a way that could mislead viewers about what that person said, did or endorses.
- Do not swap or transplant faces, imitate a public figure, or create content that impersonates another person, business or brand.
- Do not upload images of children unless you are their parent or guardian or have the guardian's documented consent, and only for legitimate business marketing.
3. Personal use ("For me")
Personal pieces edit photos of you, your family and friends. Because they touch real people’s likeness, these rules apply on top of the rest of this policy and you confirm them once before your first personal generation:
- Edit only photos you took or own, or in which every adult shown has agreed to be edited and to the way you will share the result.
- Do not alter the face or body of anyone under 18. The only exception is your own child, in a private family context, never to mislead and never in any sexualised way.
- Do not present an edited image as a real, unedited photograph: not on identity or official documents, not on dating or marketplace profiles as a true likeness, not as news, and not as evidence.
- Do not create sexual or intimate imagery of anyone, including yourself for distribution, and never of a minor.
- Results are AI-edited; label them as edits when you share them where that matters, and keep the originals.
We check personal generations with the same automated review as business pieces and may refuse, remove or report content that breaks these rules. Personal use is for individuals; a business that wants to edit photos of people uses the business catalogue and its consent rules.
4. No harmful content
You may not create or upload:
- sexual content of any kind, nudity, or sexualised depictions of anyone; any content that sexualises minors is reported to the authorities;
- content that harasses, threatens, bullies or demeans anyone, or promotes hatred or discrimination based on protected characteristics;
- graphic violence, self-harm, or content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism;
- advertising for products or services that are illegal where they are offered, including weapons, drugs, gambling, adult services, counterfeit goods and unlicensed financial or health products;
- political campaign or election material, or content designed to mislead people about civic processes.
5. Respect other people's rights and data
- Upload only photos, logos and other material you own or are licensed to use. Another business's listing photos, stock images you have not licensed and third-party logos are not yours to use.
- Do not upload images that reveal anyone's health condition or treatment (for example patient photos), or other sensitive personal data, without the person's explicit consent for advertising use.
- Do not put other people's personal data (such as names, phone numbers or addresses) into a piece unless you are entitled to publish it.
6. Use the Service as intended
- Do not try to extract our prompts, briefs, review checklists, templates or model configuration, or to bypass our content screening, including with crafted inputs.
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of the Service, or overload it, without our written permission.
- Use the API within the published limits and do not access the Service by other automated means.
- Do not share accounts, resell access, create multiple accounts to abuse promotions, or pay with credentials you are not authorised to use.
- Do not use Outputs for spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
7. Enforcement
Our systems may screen Inputs and Outputs automatically and our team may review flagged content. If we believe you have breached this policy, we may refuse or stop a generation, delete content, suspend or close your account and, where the law requires or the safety of others is at stake, report it to the authorities. What happens to your balance in that case is set out in our Terms of Service. Breaching this policy also breaches the Terms.
8. Reporting abuse or infringement
If you believe content made with Zivdeo infringes your rights or breaks this policy, email support@zivdeo.com with the subject “Abuse report”. Include:
- where you saw the content (a link or a copy);
- what rights or rules it breaks and, for intellectual property, what work or mark you own;
- your contact details and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
We review every report and act promptly. We may share the report with the customer concerned so that it can respond.
